Surrey Youth League Presentation Dinner
Martin and Neil Seymour from Challenge Trophies attended the Surrey Youth League Presentation Dinner on Friday night at Imber Court.
It was a fantastic evening, where the league recognised all the people who work tirelessly to make this amazing league what it is. The league does take an enormous amount of work to run efficiently due to its ongoing popularity. In the 2012/13 season there will be 650 teams competing, providing football for over 9000 children – which must be a logistical nightmare!!
Frank Thompson (General Secretary) and Debbie Birch (Assistant Secretary) kindly presented Martin and Neil with a gift to thank Challenge Trophies for their work in providing nearly 2000 football trophies for their presentation each year. The evening was rounded off with some very entertaining anecdotes from Garry Richardson the BBC Sports Presenter. Everyone connected with the league enjoyed the evening and the Surrey Youth League appears well set to continue going from strength to strength.
